United loses a tough one

Saturday November 21st the Premier ladies faced the top team in the league and battled the cold and rain. United came out strong and played Gorge equally for the first 25 minutes before they went down 1-0 on a neatly slotted goal by an opposing forward. Going into halftime down a goal, United was determined to battle back, but the conditions and the opponent were too much, as Gorge knocked in another goal halfway through the second, then a third just before the match was called. Unfortunate loss for United, who next face Vic Athletics at home Sunday, November 29th with game time and field still TBA.
